VERY dog freindly in general :) I'm lucky, I know!! The only real exceptions are Bethels by that ganett colony and in farmed areas (again around the lakes at Bethels which has a lot of privatly owned farm land) and one or two other spots where there are restrictions about having dogs on the grass reserve areas in the height of summer and during peak breeding times for certain wildlife but that still leaves masses of choices and tons of space. One thing I will mention though is that some of those beaches are iron rich black sand and they simply get too hot for dogs (IMO) during the day in summer - but in winter.... awesome stuff! :)
