I think my attitude to HEAT is somewhat colored by my circumstances really. I live in a second floor apartment.It has BIG windows, but alas, they all face either east or west! So in the summer I get all the sun in the morning, and all the sun in the afternoon too! Of course I do have blinds, curtains etc, but believe me the inside of this joint gets VERY HOT in summer inspite of all my 'cooling' effects. Also I don't have a car, so I can't make a lovely dash to the beach, or even the local swimming pool which is a couple of miles away. However, I will agree that summer has it's merits (just have to look hard to find them.LOL!)
and I do get wonderful views from the east window of sunrise in the morning, and sunset in the eve from the west.
