Tina, you sound like you'll fit right in.
I just started a diet too - right after I polished off a piece of pie!
We used to have neighbors who had quite an assortment of critters - one was a chinchilla. "Fluffy" got out one night and got in our garage. We had a terrier/beagle cross at the time - Daisy was very prey driven and she almost went crazy trying to get that little fur coat. We didn't know what she was after, just chasing and charging behind all the clutter in the garage. Glad she didn't hurt her.

Have you ever visited "Chins and Quills"? It's a message board for folks who have all kinds of things like that. I visited for a short while to ask questions about Prarie Dogs, as their was one in a yard in our neightborhood (and there are *no* prarie dogs in this area.)

I'm a grandmother with two grown daughters and 3 grand daughters, a husband who retired after 33 year in law enforcement, a cat who will soon be 20 and Mack, my Boxer who is also always on a diet.
Welcome.
