Oh, how I love the beach and I know I shouldn't complain because we are only 30-40 minutes from the coast - but I spent the first 37 years of my life being only minutes away and could go with no thought or planning - and I did. I went almost every day as a child, if not to play on the beach, in the water or the saltwater pool - just to see "what's going on." And then at about 27 I became a runner ( well maybe jogger) and ran on the beach several times a week. Katie and Daisy before her got lots and lots of exercise there - Mack not nearly so much.
Your beach reminds me more of what I have seen in Hawaii than the coast of California that I am used to.
I wanna be a beach bum!!
