But at the time I couldn't reply - loved it though and still do, thanks! Sadly :((( there is no way that we could afford a new computer now (this one is only just two years old after all and it was bought brand new so the pain of the dollars involved is still somewhat in evidence). I don't think I'd ever buy brand new again, just as an aside, I think the way to go is to get to know a person right into computers and take them shopping for a really good second hand bargain and then let them tweak it. Lots of stuff about the package we bought has left me feeling badly ripped off.... sorry to ramble on and on but hey... it's a chat board right? ;-) But anyhow, status quo on things right now is that it is working, but not working well, and that Ray will take it off us for a tweak and whatever other magic he can preform on it - probably in a couple of weeks while his wife is away in Australia for a visit and he has the time to muck around with it. Hopefully then it will be restored to a point where it is a heap more reliable and I can go surfing again (I really miss that!).
