Sorry Kris I haven't been checking this board very well. That is quite an achievement, my mum was diabetic and I grew up with it and I do know how important it is to keep it balanced.

How old is Colleen?

One of my friends daughter has a friend who is diabetic, does that make sense, this girl is 11 years old and does all her own injections and has done for some time. My friend is a nurse and she is allowed to go places with her but not with most people. Her parents rightfully, insist that anyone she goes with knows what they are doing. My friends daughter also helps her.
