I honestly don't mind that she has family pictures - but I have so few of my early years, they are really precious. And this daughter of mine does not always take good care of things - easy come, easy go. These simply cannot be replaced and I have no family (a very dysfunctional group) that would have or give me any pictures pertaining to me.

I gave some away (to my ex-husband grrr) that I'm very sorry about. But you're right, in this day and age there are many ways to duplicate precious pictures.
