I watched a program on either 60 Minutes or Dateline regarding this very subject. People who could not afford their medications would be forced to take a bus to another country where it would literally be sold for half the price. It is really a pity that our senior citizens have to go through all this just to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Something has got to give, and I think this is a step in the right direction - the other being bringing a prescription drug benefit to Medicare.
