..the support Margaret. I do appreciate it!! Sadly my Aunt passed yesterday (I was on my way to see her when I got the call) and at this point I doubt that the horses being put down can be avoided. There appears to be a lot of confussion over the will but the one thing that has come to light is that these horses were hers to the point of not allowing anyone to do more than toss hay into their paddock. Apparently no one else can get near them and it also turns out that one of them is an elderly horse. My understanding is that they are to be buried in the same area as her previous two horses and her ashes are to be scattered on top of the graves. I wish I had taken the time to get to know her while she was still alive - maybe she would have felt comfortable with leaving the care of the younger horse to me ~ then again maybe not.
