Right now my iris are scattered in multiple beds. Some on that list are on order and haven't been put in the ground yet. About 75 are actually growing and the rest show up in July. A buddy of mine has shared my iris interest and has been key in helping me to develop my cultivars over a hundred, combat various diseases (the usual iris fungal stuff).

Baboon Bottom is a beautiful fushia pink broken color, meaning it is dark pink striped (like tiger stripes) in silvery white. I have it on order from the Zebra Garden. Some of my plants cost as much as $30 each...so I about faint when I see a spot on a blade!

Next year the actual commercial bed will go in. The webmaster and I are still at odds as to "where" it will be. It will be about a 60X60 bed, with rows spaced three ft. apart to accomdate the rear tine tiller and cut out all the hand work I have to do now. I believe we will probably fence it (here we go again...ugh...)and gate it. Over the winter I have to get the legal junk done, like filing my business name, opening a business acct. at the bank, then securing our domain name, and then we will be going online with it. I'll be limited in my selling capacity for about three years then WHAM! I'll have iris out the wazoo! When the commercial bed is finished and planted I'll send you all photo's (next year) and bloom pics (year after).

Then I'll expect an order *LOL*!

Jacke
