Anything but boring. And I can feel sinful with that and feel good at the same time. :)

Here's mine. The first time I was served this was at a cafe in Germany. It sounds strange, but trust me...it's wonderful.

Peppered Strawberries

2 cups fresh strawberries (500 ml)
1/2 to 1 oz. Grand Marnier or brandy (15-25 ml)
2 tbsp. granulated sugar (25 ml)

Toss all ingredients together, refridgerate for 30 minutes, then serve over....

Zabaglione

4 egg yokes
1/3 cup granulated sugar (75 ml)
1/2 cup sweet white wine (125 ml)

Put the egg yolks, sugar and wine in the top of a double boiler or stainless steel bowl and whisk for 1 minute. Set the top part of the double boiler or steel bowl over a pot of steaming water. Whisk constantly making sure the egg yolks do not curdle. Slowly cook the mixture for 10 minutes or until you have a very creamy consistency and it is very warm to the touch.

Place a small scoop of vanilla ice-cream in a glass or dessert bowl. Add a quarter of the strawberry mixture to each glass, including some of the syrup. Sprinkle the cracked pepper over the top. Then, top with zabaglione. Serve the second it is assembled.

Makes for four happy people. :)

This one is not sinless. An hour on the treadmill at least (okay, I'm lazy...LOL!!!)
