I have to admit that Doggett and Reyes don't really have a place in the next movie. And this is from a huge Doggett lover. And I doubt they'd make it into movie since Mulder and Scully really are the big money draw. Ideally I'd like to see some sort of Monster of the Week that takes place after the series ends. Sure, neither of them are in the FBI anymore, but you know Mulder couldn't resist chasing after some paranormal thing he hears about. That would have worked better if CC hadn't shot himself in the foot in regards to Mulder and Scully's current state.

If CC and Co. did decide to include Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish, I would love to see an all out big budget special effects extravaganza about the colonization in 2012. Maybe Doggett and Reyes could be the connection to the FBI and are able to get information and use resources not available to M&S. They could use Skinner for the same purpose, but I really truly think he got killed off in the finale. We just didn't see.

Also, I think another movie is never going to happen. But it's fun to think about.
