I'm a bit late to your SUZ/Closure party but I've now read all the posts. So what was the bit of info K-mom divulged to you about Requiem?

CVL has Sky tv which is the satellite system in the UK and shows programs earlier than the BBC. At least it looks like Sky and Oz tv are in almost the same place.

I wish I could answer more of your SUZ questions but I don't know. I was really puzzled as to why Mrs. M burned the photos too. It would be nice if Mulder had them as a memento. Just one more annoying thing about her! I'm not a Teena fan. How cruel of her to kill herself without at least a proper goodbye to her son.

74 was the year Sam was taken. I thought that's what the number meant. Didn't Mulder react to that? But I think it was the number of the highway going up to Santa's Village, wasn't it? So that's the connection Scully made. It's been awhile since I've seen these eps.

Did you know Santa's Village is a real place? I've been there and have the childhood pictures to prove it. I'm guessing CC may have gone there too. Leave it to him to take a pleasant childhood playpark and turn it into something macabre!

I'm glad you liked Closure. It was one of my favorites for Season 7 and most people hated it. Yep it really got slammed. People thought the whole starlight idea was stupid and unbelievable because there's no real proof. But I thought it was great and since when are things on XF supposed to be ordinary? We saw Mulder see Sam and he wasn't delusional so that's what happened!

This ep was very special to me because it was the first ep I ever cried in. I was tearing up at Mulder reading Sam's diary (a great M&S scene) and at the end of the ep I really started bawling especially after it ended. I was really sad about it the next few days too because we'd all had such high hopes for years and Mulder finding his sister was the core of the series so it was sad how it ended and I can see people not liking it for that. But this was a very moving story and a plausible solution. It would be hard to have a big Mulder-adult Sam reunion scene without it being corny.

I thought it was just so emotional the way Mulder reacted to knowing she lived to be 14 and that she was such a fighter. He was so proud.

I wonder if we will learn anything more about Teena's death. I was with Mulder and figured there must be foul play involved until Scully did the autopsy.

Well I happened to love X-Cops! It also ranks as one of my S7 favorites. :-) And I enjoy reading some new perspectives on earlier eps. Sometimes there's such a build up before each ep airs and speculation on all the spoilers so it's nice to read new opinions from you guys who are seeing things fresh.
