"ARRRRRRR!" Kande screams and dives for couch and the safety of the couch cushions. "Is that what I think it is?"

"What? This ol' thing?" KS asks innocently, finger hovering over the button.

"My God! What are you doing with that? Who even let you out of pris--...I mean, your house?" Kande is hyperventilating, her eyes darting to and fro frantically. "When...if...I ever get my hands on JD, why I..."

"Calm down, Sis. Sheesh. It only penetrates a couple of miles, we're way beyond the blast site."

Kande sits up. "Wait a minute. You're not bombing the Big House. PFC1 and the Mayor are there."

"True. They are now. But they won't be later, as least PFC1 won't be."

"Then how?" Kande lets out a little girly gasp as she watches PFC1 wipe the hand of the President and pin a little red and white button to his lapel, which he then displays proudly to the members of the Press. PFC1 then steps back, grimaces, and wipes her hands on the hem of the Mayor's suit jacket. The Mayor remains oblivious. "What's that pin say?"

"It says 'Save Our Libraries.'" KS informs her, watching intently. "Hmmph. Not that he has any intention of such a thing."

Kande's eyes widen as the obvious becomes even more obvious. "I see. The library button is the actual bomb. You're going to activate it as soon as PFC1 and the Mayor are safely out of distance."

KS rolls her eyes to the heavens. "She's a genius!"

"We'll have none of your sarcasm in this house," Kande warns her. "You know you've been told to check that at the door."

"Whatever. Hey, what's the Mayor doing?" KS barks.

The two watch as the Mayor begins to harangue the President about relations with Shipperville and Canada, poking him in the chest for emphasis.

"Oh no!" the two shriek.
