"Mayor, what's wrong?" whispered CW. "You didn't even write up any fines for Kande cheating in the bike race! Don't you know that she rode around the Klub! She never rode out onto the street!"

The Mayor didn't even blink now as she looked around the room. Finally she said in a low voice "I am just tired of this sort of stuff. All I see here is what I see on television--boring."

"What do you mean?" asked CW who doesn't watch much of anything anymore. "Is this all there is for us?"

Sadly the Mayor nodded her head. "All I see is cheating, back stabbing, violence, nuclear emergencies and FBI shows with no Mulder and Scully. Jeeze I miss them!"

"But Mayor, there are some different things to watch. I"m watching a cool thing about an alien coming to earth to find his brother and stop the bad guys who want to take over the world and kill off all the humans . . ." said CW. "There's a budding romance in this one."

The Mayor nodded and said sadly, "I don't get that station." Turning her head to stare glumly at the hubbub in the Klub she muttered "I even miss the Lone Gunmen and I never thought I'd be saying that to anybody."

CW, taking her cue stood and with her best outside, physical education teacher's voice commanded "KNOCK THAT OFF YOU GUYS! Our mayor has a good point here--let's get creative and find something new to entertain ourselves before somebody gets hurt."

Stardoe, after rearranging her bandage on the half missing ear, sat down next to the Mayor to offer her advice "You know mayor, animals are therapeutic."
