I see lots of ads in the paper for give-away dogs. Usually they say "Owner moving " or "Owner moving interstate" I don't get that. If you have an animal that is part of your family, you take it with you. Fair enough if the place you have ot live has a no pet policy but surely these people have someone they can give the pet to at least temporarily. This moving thing is just an excuse. WE have carted our dog and other animals with us when we have moved. Hundreds of miles worth of moving.

YOur pig might be one of those stuck up kind. lol. Show pig and all. As long as he's happy. One of our babies from the first two is a boy so there's a mate for dad. Starbuck has the cage all cut up and ready to assemble. This weekend I hope. We are painting it as , being wood it needs protection from the rain.

I too would have brought home those kittens. How sad. I picked up a stray dog a few weeks back. HAd to take him to the pound as they have a microchip sensor to find his owners. I meant to ring and find out if they claimed him but never got around to it. I decided then not to as I couldn't bare to think that noone wanted him back. He was little and fluffy and cute and I could have kept him. Guess I should have but there is a two dog limit where we live. We could break it but hubby did not approve. I nearly cried when I handed him over. The ranger man said "You've fallen in love with im haven't you?" I hate going to the pound. It's sad to see mostly large teenage dogs who are at that difficult stage and people just get rid of them. And then there is the odd little cute one that you wonder how anyone could get rid of. But they do. They don't think when they get a pet. I have a pound dog as my second dog. Biggest mistake I ever made. She's a true delinquent and ADHD with the attention span of a pea. Beautiful nature though and I love her. I have had day dreams of doing away with her but of course could never do it. She just drives me bananas but now I am committed to keeping her forever. I am always threatening to shoot her. Should hear the kids sticking up for her. Its really funnny.

Do you know many pet lovers KS? I have found that the majority of people don't like pets, don't own them and have no desire to own any.
