...to make sure she's still tied up and properly cowed by the Peacock boy lookalike. She sees KS bound and gagged with her head lolling around on her shoulders. The SMH clone speaks code into a walkie-talkie: "The NN is still under the weather."

As soon as the SMH walks away, KS promptly breaks her bonds. "As if I didn't know that was Doggett under the mask," she mutters under her breath. "He'd better have a dogget-gone good explanation for that little joke."

KS exits through the lab's back exit which is mysteriously not being patrolled. "Lax guards the SMH's have here," she grins as she quickly skips over to hide beneath the Mayor's open office window. She decides to eavesdrop on the Mayor's conversation. She hears the Mayor talk about putting someone in the Shipperville D-luxe motel.

"Hmm," KS muses to herself. "Must be some kind of celebrity." She is still talking to herself when Kande and CW walk by eating ice cream cones.

"Did you hear something?" CW looks at Kande.

"Huh?" Kande asks, ice cream covering her chin like a chocolate goatee.

"Never mind," CW sighs.
