KS appears in the doorway of the royal chambers of the Mayor.

"Sheesh, don't you ever knock?" scolds KM as she flushes.

"Sorry," KS blushes, "I guess I'm used to JD's lax bathroom habits."

"So what's with the shoulder and the get-up?" KM gestures toward's the large patch of gauze sticking out of KS's sequined white ballgown.

"Same old, same old, while you were out," KS informs her. "Kande made Scully shoot me, I pulled Kande's front teeth for Stardoe, Rabid gets tied up by Scully and Reyes..."

KM interrupts her. "You mean, while I was studying my butt off, Rabid has a threesome?!"

"I'm not sure it was quite like that..." KS attempts to come to Rabid's defense, remembers how Rabid used her credit card and signed her up for all kinds of junk, and decides to shut up.

"Ooh, I MUST call the Gazette," KM snickers to herself and rubs her hands. "And surely that breaks some kind of ordinance." KS wisely raises her eyes to the ceiling and starts a tuneless whistling.

"And I did really great on my tests, thank you for asking," KM continues. "I'm pretty sure I'm the smartest person in Canada. And that will be $500 for forgetting to kowtow and assaulting my ears with that wheezy blowing you're doing."
