www.gabbyswordspeller.com or www.dyslexiadictionary.com has a phonetic dictionary designed by and for dyslexics.

www.wordspeller.us has the "American Wordspeller & Phonetic Dictionary" APP designed for smartphones. When you install this and use it with the "text-to-speech" APP, you can hear your word and definitions.

A new spellchecker for computers is now being developed. If you'd like to be informed and participate in the study to finalize the platform, please contact us. And remember, the dyslexics brain is entirely fired up when reading, unlike those whom reading comes easy to. Dyslexics are FULL BRAIN thinkers. That is classified 'genius' by any standard.

It is well established that tutoring is a powerful tool in the battle against dyslexia however, by its very nature tutoring is expensive in both time and money, available only where qualified tutors can be found and therefore out of the reach of many families.
So what is a parent to do? I have been evaluating and remediating dyslexics for almost ten years and this question has plagued me to the point where I made it my mission to find or create a effective, efficient and affordable alternative for “everyone” who has minimal resources.
The result of my quest is a research based program called EduGameStar that is designed to provide any individual with the cognitive and phonological skills that must be in place before someone can be a fluent reader. EduGameStar then teaches the user how to use those skills in order to become a fluent reader. This is all accomplished in a Digital Therapy format that is both fun and highly effective. That’s right we are using video games to provide people of all ages with reading skills and helping them use them.
The Reading & Writing Inst. of Atlanta, has been using this program for some time with dyslexic students overseas and in the United States.
I am now at the point where I would like to offer this unique program to the those dyslexics who cannot obtain traditional help. Toward that end I would like to offer some full and partial scholarships to families in need. For specifics on the program you can visit us at www.edugamestar.com For information on scholarships please contact me directly at wmadigan@rwiga.org.

If a child is undiagnosed and goes without special instruction, dyslexia can lead to low self-esteem, frustration, and school failure. Dyslexia is not a result of- lack of motivation, sensory impairment, inadequate instructional or environmental opportunities, or other limiting conditions. Although dyslexia runs in families, individuals with dyslexia respond successfully to timely and appropriate intervention. I am passionate about helping children with dyslexia because, I am a dyslexic myself. I know first hand what a dyslexic child is going through- their fears and frustrations. I know how it feels to have the 'light go on" in my head after using the Orton-Gillingham techniques for my own language skills. Click on the word if they sight read the word without hesitation (otherwise click on the background). The scoreboard shows progress. A star is awarded to a word each time your child reads the word successfully. The stars get removed when the word is not sight read.

Your child's progress is saved in a database. So next time you logon your child's status is maintained.

This is the first set of flashcards that actually helps children to not just read, but SPELL sight words! The picture cues are in the confusing letter of the word, and give the child something to hold onto using their right brain strengths, rather than relying on left brain struggle for a letter.

Children master sight words much faster and actually enjoy the process! Give it a try.

I've created a really fun way to teach sight words to children who are right brained learners (includes dyslexia, ADD, autism, etc).

Many tutors and parents are using this method because it's easy to use, doesn't require extensive training and most of all, it is effective and fun for the kids.

Would love to hear your feedback on these cards.

Who LearningRx Can Help
- Reading and Auditory Processing (which includes dyslexia)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactity Disorder
- Autism, Asperger's and Pervasive Developmental Disorder
- Memory
- Traumatic Brain Injury

Regarding Reading: Auditory processing, divided attention, logic & reasoning, long-term memory, planning, processing speed, selective attention visual processing, word attack, and working memory.....all play a part in the diagnosis of "dyslexia" LearningRx pinpoints the root cause of the struggle and then has a permanent solution.

Train Don't Tutor
Tutoring is often a band-aid that treats specific symptoms of a learning struggle, but does little to correct the cause.

Tutoring can help catch up with missed information, but most learning struggles repeat themselves with every new challenge. This makes tutoring a frustrating and expensive choice.

LearningRx is radically different. We overcome learning problems by asking: "What is causing the struggle?" Our testing and trainig identifies and strengthens the parts of the brain you or your child needs to learn and read better. Results are lasting and unmatched.

Skills testing can answer the question of why your child struggles. Targeted skills training provides realistic hope for a lasting imporvement in how you or your child learns. Stronger underlying skills lead quickly to learning sucess.

I am so excited to share my games with other teachers and parents of special needs learners, especially those with dyslexia and dyscalculia! You can try a game for FREE! If you don't see a game for a particular skill, it's probably not revised yet. Let me know and I'll do that skill next.

See your brain!

Children between the ages of 8 and 17 both with and without reading disabilities (dyslexia) are needed for a study using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. FMRI allows researchers to obtain images of the brain while participants perform various mental and motor tasks. The images show which areas of the brain are "working" the hardest. There is no exposure to x-rays or radioactivity during an MRI.

What is the purpose of the study?
The purpose of this study is to find out how the brain processes speech sounds in children with and without reading difficulties in order get a better understanding of processing problems that may underlie reading disabilities. This may ultimately lead to the development of new ways to help address problems in learning to read.

What is required of the participants?
Full participation in the study involves four visits. In the first visit, the child will take a brief hearing screening test and complete several tests, including measures of intellectual functioning, speech sound processing, reading abilities, language abilities, and attention, unless the child has recently completed the same measures, in which case they will not be repeated. The child will then learn a sound matching task and practice it in a mock scanner that was designed to look and sound like the real fMRI scanner, but it does not take pictures of the brain. The other three visits will involve playing this and other matching games in the fMRI scanner.

To participate in this study, children must be right-handed, native English speakers with no history of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder or significant neurological or psychiatric disorders.

What are the benefits?
You will receive a brief summary of the test results for your child and a picture of your child’s brain. For each session, a small stipend is available to cover your travel and expenses, and your child will receive a gift certificate for a local store.

How can I learn more?

Pioneer Productions been asked by BBC Four to produce a major 3-part series on child development called ‘Growing Children’. Presented by expert child psychologist Laverne Antrobus (‘Growing Babies’ BBC4 and ‘The Biology of Dads’ BBC4), it will explore how child development is affected by 3 major developmental disorders - dyslexia, autism and OCD. Laverne will examine each of these developmental conditions and attempt to view the world through the eyes of a child affected by them. She will also investigate the possible causes of each one, how they can be treated and what they tell us about how the brain develops during childhood and beyond.

Within each of these programmes we will be following families with a child about to undergo assessment and families who have a child who received their diagnosis and have been learning to deal with their condition.

For the dyslexia programme our families would need to be filmed in their day-to-day life and discuss how their dyslexia, whether it is due to the newness of their diagnosis or how they deal with it on a daily basis, affects them. We are hoping to start our filming this summer and are keen to speak to interested families as soon as possible.

Please pass this onto anybody who you think maybe interested.

Thanks

Do any of these characteristics describe your struggling reader:

* Reads slowly and painfully
* Experiences decoding errors, especially with the order of letters
* Shows wide disparity between listening comprehension and reading comprehension of some text
* Has trouble with spelling
* May have difficulty with handwriting
* Exhibits difficulty recalling known words
* Has difficulty with written language
* May experience difficulty with math computations
* Decoding real words is better than nonsense words
* Substitutes one small sight word for another: a, I, he, the, there, was

What is the Orton-Gillingham Method:

The Orton-Gillingham approach is language-based, multisensory, structured, sequential, cumulative, cognitive, and flexible. Its breadth, perspective, and flexibility prompt use of the term approach instead of method. The Orton-Gillingham approach is based on a technique of studying and teaching language, understanding the nature of human language, the mechanisms involved in learning, and the language-learning processes in individuals. Students learn about the history of the English language and study the many generalizations and rules that govern its structure. They also learn how best they can learn and apply the language knowledge necessary for achieving reading and writing competencies. In every lesson, the student experiences a high degree of success and gains confidence as well as skill. Learning becomes a rewarding and happy experience.

Who am I:

I am a licensed educator with over 10 years experience working with students who have special needs, and an active member of the International Dyslexia Association. I have taught and tutored students at Groves Academy in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. After leaving Groves Academy I worked as an Orton-Gillingham academic therapist for the Integrative Medicine Clinic at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and Alexander Center located in Eden Prairie, MN. Subject: Towards an Early Detection of Developmental Dyslexia

Ola Ozranov-Palchik

Date Posted: 10:30:15 04/21/11 Thu

We are researchers at the Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience at Children’s Hospital Boston and our research focuses on the early detection of dyslexia in pre-reading children from infancy to kindergarten. The main goal of our research studies is to find the best way to identify children at risk for developmental dyslexia at a very early age, before reading skills are even present. Neuroimaging studies have revealed brain alterations in school-age children and adults with a diagnosis of developmental dyslexia. We are currently investigating how early these brain differences appear, and whether they can be used to identify children who are at risk for dyslexia in infancy or in pre-school. Our studies are funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Harvard Catalyst program.

Currently we are seeking:

  • 4-6 year old children with or without family history of dyslexia and who will start kindergarten in the fall of 2011 or 2012. The study is conducted in two sessions each year for 4 years (one session looks at cognitive and reading development and one looks at brain development) at either Children’s Hospital Boston or Waltham. Parents can receive a report for the cognitive and reading development testing each year and a report from the radiologist. All parents are reimbursed for parking and/or public transportation and children receive gift certificates for local book stores.

  • 5-12 month old infants (i) with and (ii) without a family history of dyslexia. The study is conducted in one session at either Children’s Hospital Boston or Waltham, where we take pictures of your baby’s brain while he or she is sleeping. All children receive toys, a picture of their brain, and a report from the radiologist, and parents are reimbursed for parking and/or public trasnportation.

How do we remember what's been said in meetings or in class? We rely on writing things down. However, for many people, concentrating for long periods of time or creating handwritten notes is very difficult or even impossible. However, Audio Notetaker's brand new approach to note taking solves these problems.

Audio Notetaker is an audio-based software program for note taking. Instead of relying on taking written notes, with Audio Notetaker you use the original audio itself to take notes. Audio Notetaker's unique audio display allows you to see your recorded audio and interact with it - quickly deleting what you don't need, breaking the recording into bite-size chunks, using colour to highlight important phrases or sections, and adding presentation slides, images & text. Audio Notetaker is already well established in the UK and has over 10,000 users, most of whom are high school or university students.

I offer one-to-one tutoring utilizing the Orton-Gillingham method, a research-based methodology for remediation in reading, writing and spelling for people with dyslexia.

As a parent of a dyslexic child, I understand how difficult it is to watch your child struggle in school. It can impact the whole family. I made it my mission to find the best methods possible to help my son find academic success. Now, I am teaching other dyslexic students to read and offering guidance to their parents on how to support them.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns and how one-to-one tutoring can improve your child's academic success.

Around one-quarter of children fail to achieve the expected numeracy standard at the end of primary school! And one-third fail to achieve the “benchmark” C-grade in maths GCSE. With the start of the first academic year to suffer from massive spending cuts, it is imperative that parents consider investing in ‘after-school’ education, especially for maths, a core subject.

Can additional tuition really help that much? Well, here is what some parents of Bettermaths students have been saying:

“We have been extremely happy with her progress, but even more, with the way Bettermaths is run, and the fact that it is all about the child.”

“a huge proportion of credit for her improvement goes to Bettermaths”

“it is I believe entirely due to the work he has done with Bettermaths that he has made up lost ground at school.”

Times Table clock is a simple game based on the classic card game of clock solitaire - it can be played as ordinary clock solitaire, but has also been adapted for learning times tables from 2x to 12x. Successfully used by pupils for years to learn tables, this game is now available as an iPhone/iPod touch app. Self-correcting and very simple to learn, it is ideal for reinforcing both multiplication and division facts. Tables are learned by using cues of spatial position and colour, which do not realy on good verbal skills the way rote memory does. The visual clock layout also aids sequencing skills. This makes it especially suitable for students with dyslexia and dyscalculia. Physically moving the cards provides multisensory reinforcement, and the addictive nature of the game means that repetition and over-learning happen automatically. The tables are learned effortlessly, and with remarkable speed. Only £1.99/USD $1.99.

[ Edit | View ]

Date Posted: 16:57:53 03/28/10 Sun

I've been a teacher of reading for eons! Most of my students have dyslexia. One common complaint that I hear over and over is that some words really aren't fair - you can't decode them. So, I wrote a book, half fiction, half fact, to help explain this truth. It's silly but so true - words aren't fair and it is all understandable, given the history of English. But no little kid would want to hear about this subject (boring) written in factual form. So I invented a pooka (elf) named Tweasel. He's got quite an imagination and tells his rendition of how he thinks words were invented. Drawing from the writings of Bill Bryson (Mother Tongue) I wove some facts into Tweasel's story to make the point that, even though words are weird, with a little patience and the right support, reading is do-able!! Sound Therapy is a therapeutic self-help listening program which uses specially recorded classical music on a portable player with headphones to correct disorders relating to the ear, auditory processing, speech, learning, mood and behaviour.

Developed by an ear, nose and throat specialist, Dr Alfred Tomatis, with extensive research since the 1950s, Sound Therapy has proven to be an effective way to correct dyslexia by gently stimulating the parts of the brain which process auditory and visual stimuli.

Do any of these characteristics describe your struggling reader:

* Reads slowly and painfully
* Experiences decoding errors, especially with the order of letters
* Shows wide disparity between listening comprehension and reading comprehension of some text
* Has trouble with spelling

I am currently working as a private academic therapy tutor.

I received my teaching degree from Bemidji State and have completed all four levels of Orton-Gillingham reading training through Hamline University, The Upper Midwest Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and Orton-Gillingham of Minnesota. I have training and experience implementing the following educational curriculums:

Orton-Gillingham Reading Approach
Wilson Reading Approach
Remediation Plus Reading Approach
Read Naturally
Handwriting Without Tears
Project Read Framing Your Thoughts Sentence and Paragraph Writing

I look forward to discussing how my programs can help your child.

Joan

Subject: A Book For Children With Dyslexia: "Charlie: A Boy With Reading Difficulties and His Dream".

Date Posted: 04:35:22 06/28/09 Sun

For children with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, going to school can be a nightmare. But a new children's book is giving a sense of hope, confidence and self-worth to those who confront these challenges.

"Charlie: A Boy With Reading Difficulties and His Dream" (Outskirts Press) was written by an expert on learning difficulties to help youngsters and adults alike understand the life of a dyslexic person from a child's point of view. The book follows nine-year-old Charlie, who is teased at school for his inability to concentrate on reading. The abuse contributes to feelings of depression and isolation, as well as low self-esteem and confidence.

Then hope arrives in the form of someone close to him who understands and, for the first time, explains how Charlie is different from other children and what he can do to boost his skills. In addition, Charlie learns how his differences set him apart in positive ways, too, so that his uniqueness becomes a treasure. What follows is a remarkable story of promise and inspiration.

Written in a chapter-book format and delightfully illustrated throughout, "Charlie" aims to help children with learning differences develop their talents, not focus on their difficulties or be hindered by others' prejudices.

"Charlie: A Boy With Reading Difficulties and His Dream" is now available through Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and the online bookstore of Outskirts Press, at outskirtspress.com/store.php

About the Author: Vassiliki Plomaritou is a special needs teacher who has worked in the clinical diagnosis and remediation of reading and spelling difficulties for the last decade. She has written two books, both in Greek: "Dyslexia: An Academic Therapy for Primary School Children," and "The Development of Emotional Intelligence for Primary School Children.".

Do you or your children have difficulties with reading or spelling?
Is this causing difficulties for you at school/college/work?
Is it preventing you (or your child) from reaching your potential?
A dyslexic child frequently experiences a sense of failure. They cannot understand why they find it so hard to do the work that others find easy. They feel the hurt and embarrassment of being considered “stupid”or "slow.” This leads to lack of confidence that they carry to adulthood.
Dyslexia can affect someone’s whole life unless it is recognised and managed and the first step is a full, diagnostic, learning assessment carried out by a specialist.

Assessment includes:
Pre-assessment questionnaire
Initial consultation to discuss background and difficulties
Full diagnostic learning assessment
Comprehensive written report with recommendations for home/school/college or your employer
Verbal consultation to discuss findings and allow you time to ask questions

To help you decide whether to proceed with an assessment, email or phone for a list of signs and symptoms of dyslexia.

Date Posted: 10:25:08 03/24/09 Tue

Can developmental dyslexia be identified in pre-readers? The Gaab lab is currently investigating early language characteristics in pre-reading children (ages 4 to 6). Because reading problems tend to run in families, we aim to look at how young children who have at least one family member diagnosed with dyslexia use their brains. The main goal is to identify children at risk for developmental dyslexia at a very early age, before reading skills are even present. An advanced understanding of brain processes in children with a risk for developmental dyslexia may help us to improve and implement early remediation programs. I have a 9-yr old little girl that is in need of some help. She has been diagnosed with dyslexia. The school board of education here does not recognize dyslexia as a learning "issue". (I will not call it a learning disability for it isnt! It is just a different learning style.) I need help in finding her some help either by a tutor or what ever. I am to the point to where I want to cry. My daughter is classified as being too smart for LD classes but too slow for regular class. Any ideas or help is and will always be greatly appreciated!

I am a tutor in private practice trained in an Orton-Gillingham based tutoring system designed to help dyslexic and non-dyslexic children and adults with spelling, reading, and writing in a one-on-one setting. This system is a multi-sensory approach that incorporates research by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) on phonemic awareness and fluency. A consistent success rate using this system's practical techniques with children led to its approval by the California State Board of Education in May 2003 for use in grades K-12. If you would like more information regarding the details of this system, I can be reached at dkaplan.tutor@gmail.com or (805) 358-0600. FYI: Serving Ventura County, California and nearby communities.

I am doing a school project on dyslexia. I want to learn all about it. People don't think it's very important; it's not very common to get dyslexia. But they are wrong. I want to tell people all about it; how it affects people, symptoms, hereditary, whether its affects each person differently, if it's more common between boys or girls. Could you please send me information all about dyslexia in detail? And if you have a brochure, send that too? (Send it to this email, that way I can just print it out) Thank you.

I am a former college Learning Specialist and the parent of an LD/ADD son who graduated college successfully. After seeing so many of my college students struggle academically and make judgmental errors that unwittingly sabotaged their progress, I decided it might be better to help them PROactively.

I wrote a course, CONQUER COLLEGE WITH LD/ADD, that I teach locally at Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, PA. It has received excellent reviews by students and parents alike. However, from participating in online forums, I have received inquiries from all over the country about "CONQUER COLLEGE". As a result,I have decided to put a website up and put my course up in the form of webinars!

I also teach the course privately, via Skype, for anyone interested. The course is open to all in high school, but the sooner one takes it, the better. This course is an INVESTMENT to protect tuition dollars that I so often see go down the drain. It absolutely can make the difference between success and failure for a motivated student.

KORE ACADEMY | ids Obtaining Real Education

History: KORE Academy was founded in October 2003 by a small group of parents wishing to obtain quality education for their children with various learning disabilities. Recognizing that their children’s needs were not being met in the traditional classroom, these parents came to the realization that they would have to create the alternative their children needed. Thus, KORE Academy was born.

Program: KORE Academy exists to help students with average/low average intelligence who struggle in the traditional classroom due to various learning differences such as dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, or processing disorders. This is a highly structured program with the goal of individualizing instruction to meet the needs of students having a wide range of abilities.

Entrance: Parents and teachers meet to discuss current performance, learning issues, previous testing, etc. in order to discern if the school would be an appropriate placement for the child. Once a child is tentatively accepted into the program, a trial period of 4 and 1/2 weeks is used to make the final determination as to whether the school is a good fit for the child.
*Students with behavior problems are not accepted into KORE Academy.

Grades/Class Size: Currently, KORE Academy offers classes at three levels: intermediate (grades 3-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). The intermediate and middle school classes are self-contained, with a maximum of eight students. The high school homeroom can accommodate up to 20 students, with a maximum of eight students in individual classes.

KORE Academy’s staff includes:
• Director w/certification in Learning Disabilities & Counseling
• Teachers certified either in education or in their subject field
• Reading Specialist – one-on-one instruction
• Montessori trained intermediate teacher
• Over 90 years teaching experience among staff

“KORE Ten”:
• Structured, individualized program
• Individual Education Plans for each student
• Small groups – 1 teacher to 8 students maximum
• Grade level and ability grouping
• Multi-sensory instruction
• Respect for a variety of learning styles
• Emphasis on basics
• Phonics-based reading instruction
• High standards for behavior
• Supportive, nurturing environment

Electives: Electives are chosen to meet high school graduation requirements, supplement the regular curriculum, capitalize on student’s interests and gifts, and provide a well-rounded curriculum at all grade levels.

I offer one-to-one tutoring in the Orton-Gillingham method, a research-based methodology for remediation in reading, writing, and spelling for people with dyslexia.

ANNOUNCING A NEW DYSLEXIA WEBSITE FROM THE HEART OF TEXAS

http://www.dyslexiavoice.info

The guiding purpose of my website is to spread encouragement, and to say to all: never, never, ever give up.

Included on my new website is a Parent's Corner, Teacher's Corner and a special section just for children. In the Children's Corner is a link to a FREE typing course for ages 7-11 that uses animals to do the teaching. It is delightful. Then there is a link to a website developed by a bright 12 year old with dyslexia. This site can be a boost to your child's self esteem as he sees another child with dyslexia doing something so neat.

Also included is a section on encouragement and a highlight of a famous living dyslexic.

You have an opportunity to leave a message or a blog about your experiences with dyslexia. Letting your child blog about their dyslexia is a neat way to help them understand it and to air their feelings.

WHAT'S THIS THING CALLED DYSLEXIA? a Handbook for Students, Parents and Teachers by Ray Ham, M.Ed. Copyright 1989, 2001

The author is foutunate in that he found a teacher with dyslexia who tutors children with dyslexia. All of the illustrations in the 28 page, professionally bound handbook are by the teacher and students with dyslexia.

The intended audience for WHAT'S THIS THING CALLED DYSLEXIA,
is the elementary school child who finds reading difficult; thus, the purpose of a read-aloud approach. Also, this approach allows the adult reader an opportunity to discuss the concepts in the handbook with the child.

Besides imparting information to the child about dyslexia, the theme throughout the handbook is one of encouragement. The author is not teaching a feel-good-and-everything-will- be-OK approach; but he does believe that positive reinforcement, a huge dose of love, and encouragement from parents, friends and teachers will assist children with dyslexia in developing their full potential.

The end of the handbook has this saying: I MAY HAVE DYSLEXIA BUT DYSLEXIA DOES NOT HAVE ME.

With a little bit of creative thought and discussion with others, this saying can be used in a variety of ways to encourage children with dyslexia.

If you are interested in getting pricing information for this handbook, please email rayham@sbcglobal.net with dyslexia as the subject line. SORRY! LIMITED TO THE USA.

Subject: Remove the problems of Visual Dyslexia

Author:
John A. Hayes

Date Posted: 11:46:41 12/09/07 Sun

The visual problems associated with visual dyslexia are individual specific and varied but all result in difficulty seeing and comprehending the printed word. Some visual dyslexics have visual problems that involve motion such as words falling off the page, words appearing to be behind a waterfall or words that seem to be jumping all of which make reading a battle. Other visual dyslexics have a pattern where letters are obscured and missing that make reading similar to playing "wheel of fortune". Some other common visual dyslexic problems are letter transpositions and reversals.

The individualistic problems suggested the theory that individualistic solutions of filtering a specific wavelength (or color) of light generated from personal evaluations was needed to correct these problems. While some success could be claimed for the "is this color better than that color" method, the failure rate prohibited having any guarantee and left many clients paying without receiving much benefit. ( there never was any reason to believe that only one color was involved for any particular dyslexic)

With the discovery that a finite list of specific wavelengths of light were causing all of the visual dyslexia problems it became possible to develop the See Right Dyslexia Glasses and filter out all of the wavelengths involved that cause all of the visual problems. This eliminates the need for a personal evaluation.

This also results in several improvements for visual dyslexia problems. The elimination of the need for a personal evaluation not only eliminates the cost of the evaluation but also allows the See Right Dyslexia Glasses to be sold on the Internet. It also becomes possible to offer a money back guarantee.

The See Right Dyslexia Glasses are sold at www.dyslexiaglasses.com . I refuse to overstate the claim for the See Right dyslexia Glasses. They are not for all dyslexics because most dyslexics do not have visual problems that make reading difficult and therefore won't be helped by dyslexia glasses. The See Right Dyslexia Glasses successfully remove any described visual dyslexia problem that makes reading difficult.

I used the phrase "described visual problems" because if someone can describe their visual problem they know when it is removed. Removing described visual problems is the standard I use for the See Right Dyslexia Glasses.

I have a son who is 12 and is dyslexic. It has been difficult here in the Florida school system because the schools are not prepared to service these students. I have taken the LIPs program and Wilson Reading program to assist him at home. After 5 years of reading and learning about dyslexia, I am now trying to tutor and help my son and other children with dyslexia/language based disabilities. It now has become a passion for me to help these students sitting in the classroom without teachers trained to assist them. Please contact me or go to my website at: www.makingthegrades.net
