((ooc - ok, yea, so I'm doing the thing me and Briar sort of thought up...Laura, didn't really ask you -- just let me know if you don't want me too and you can ignore the post...and yea. Everything is getting so sad...-sob-))

Her legs were still and her feet had horrible cramps from sitting in the position she was in for so long. This posistion being crouched behind a large bush on top of uneven rocks and grass.

Sadie had witnessed the whole experience through the gaps in the plant she hid behind. She had just been out on a walk, once again on one of her little 'adventures' -- running temporarily away from the castle. Getting away, it just let her clear her mind, forget about her duties of being in the royal family.

As soon as she saw the mysterious men and woman on the horses - for she had seen them first - she ducked behind the bush. They looked like they were chasing someone, and they moved so fast. It scared the little girl.

And then Sadie spotted the two victims, going so much slower on their weary mounts. A young boy -- he looked familiar, and a man whom she was sure that she had never seen before.

They events that took place could have been the worst thing Sadie had ever witnessed. She had never seen someone...well, die before -- and this death wasn't really the peaceful type, either. All the bloodshed, the horrible sounds...Sadie wan't to leave, to look away, but she couldn't tear her eyes away from the scene if she tried. It was like she was in a trance.

She thought both of the two had passed, but then...just maybe, was the boy still alive? Should she go to him? Could she? Her female maternal instincts suddenly came in. She slowly - so slowly - stood from her position and crept a few steps towards the boy, hoping he was still alive. She only took a few steps, and then stopped, as if paralized by what she saw in front of her, now in full view. The princess felt like she was in a nightmare come to life.

((ooc - yea, she's kind of in two places at once (also in the courtyard) but that's ok...heh.))
