I wasn't quite sure what board to post this on. . .

but I guess since this is the "Stories" board, it's most appropriate to post it here. I got an e-mail invitation to go to a fanfic convention and participate in some of the panel discussions and stuff. I probably won't go, as participants have to pay all their own expenses, but I thought it was cool to be invited!
I'm not sure if the invitation was issued due to my XF fanfic or some of my other stories. The bulk of my fanfic is XF-related, but I actually seem to get more recognition for my "JAG" and "Dark Angel" stories; I guess because there are *SO* many people who write XF fanfic and only a couple of dozen who write "JAG" and "DA" stories.
