IN THE CABIN


Nay Nay and Von were looking out the window and listening to me and Luda's convo. That's when LaShonda came out the bathroom.

LaShonda: What are you two doing? And where is Chelle?
Nay Nay: Shhhh! She's out there talking to Haze ri now.
LaShonda:[running to the window] Say wha?
Von: Yeah now shhhh! So they won't know we're listenin.
LaShonda: Wait a minute. It seemed like they were enemies when y'all was sittin in here. What happened between them earlier?
Nay Nay: Haze was actin like himself and popped an attitude with Chelle. She told him off and he straightened up. Then when we were by the pond he took her behind a tree and apologized then kissed her. They haven't said anything to each other since then until now.
Von: Will y'all be quiet so I can hear what they sayin?

OUR CONVO


Me: What about earlier?
Haze: You know what I mean. I'm talkin about the kiss. I didn't mean to do that. It just seemed like the right thing to do so I just wanted to apologize for it.
Me: Oh ok.
Haze: That's all you gotta say?
Me: What do you want me to say? You popped an attitude with me, I cussed you out, then you apologized and kissed me. Now you're apologizing for a kiss and I say oh and you tryna get another attitude. This ain't nothin but a cycle.
Haze: Look I just thought that maybe you didn't want me to kiss you and why I kissed you I ono. That ain't like me and you can ask anyone that knows me and they'll tell you that that ain't like me.
Me: Well maybe you need to stop thinkin so much and do what you feel. And don't think about what I may and may not want because you don't know. If you wanna know ask me.
Haze: Fine did you want me to kiss you or would you ahve rather me be an ignorant ass nigga and not apologize?
Me: Damn I don't know. I'm not even supposed to be in this situation. I was just supposed to come down here for 2 months and then go back to the ATL.
Haze: Well you are in this situation so can you answer my question please?
Me: Damn I don't know if I wanted to kiss me. But I can tell you one thing.
Haze: And what is that?
Me: I liked it. [I kissed him on the cheek] 'Night.

I walked back into the cabin I waved to him and then closed the door behind me. I don't why I just did that but I did. So it was done and scetched in time with a pen. I couldn' erase it.

Von: What were you and Haze talkin about?
Me: Nothin. Dang don't be so nosey.
Nay Nay: Uh huh. You must've been doin somethin since you smilin and blushin.
Me: No I wasn't. All we did was talk and kind of fuss at each other. But that's all.
Von: Did he kiss you again?
Me: No[smiling]........I kissed him.
N/V: Oooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Me: On the cheek. And I saw y'all in the window too. Now y'all know I was gonna tell y'all what happened, so why were y'all in the window?
Von: It was Nay Nay's idea. I had nothin to do with that aiight?
Nay Nay: Don't try and blame it all on me. I ain't hold no gun to yo head and say get over to the window so we can look and listen to they convo. Now did I?
Von: No but it was still yo idea.
Nay Nay: Whateva.
Me: Anywayz I'm goin to take a shower and go to bed. 'Scuse me.

I took a shower for about 10 minutes since we really couldn't take that long of showers. I put on my Tweety night clothes and slippers and walked out to my bed. I climbed in and wrote in my journal.

Dear Journal,

Today was pretty coo. I met Aashene`[Nay Nay] and Sivon[Von], they're coo. Then I met their boyfriends Lib and Zane. And their friend Antoine, but they call him Haze. He is soooooooo[etc.] FOINE! When they were showing me around me and him got into it but he apologized be hind a tree. And get this...he kissed me. It wasn't like a french or anything just a peck. But that peck was good! Tonight we had this lil welcome day act thing. We won't know if we won until tomorrow at dinner. But after that they all came over to the cabin and the 6 of us talked. But then LaShonda came back and they had to leave. Zane and Lib went back to the cabin while Nay Nay and Von went inside the cabin only to spy on us though. So that left me and Haze out there. He came up behind me while I was looking at a flower and we talked. This is what happened;

Haze: Chelle?
Me:[startled] Huh? Oh it's you, what's up?
Haze: Nothin I just wanted to talk to you about earlier.
Me: Oh what about earlier?

Then I took a shower and came to write in you. I mean just to up and kiss a guy isn't like me. Whether it's on the cheek or lips. The guy always usually kisses me so this was really weird for me.

Well LaShonda[my counsler] said we have a full day tomorrow so I'll write more later. Or probably tomorrow night or whenever I get a free minute and tell you what's up.
