I agree, if our saftey is at stake we have to find a choice that will keep us safe. But, by the same token, we are going to have to live with this choice, so a choice that makes us feel morally wrong, and consiquentally unhappy, is not a good choice either.

Lets seperate "science" from the technocracy. I think our only hope to understand what is going on is science, or at least the scientific method of thinking. We need to try to approach this rationally as best we can. But that doesn't mean we need to agree with the technocracies belifs about personal freedoms, not that we know those to be true.

I completely agree, we can barely control our own abilities, we can't hope to control any backlash. We need to be very careful with what we do, and I think we need to stop doing anything untill we know more. But I know you guys disagree with me.
