Author: Becca [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:37:29 07/08/02 Mon Being relatively new to Michigan ~{ 1 year now}~ and never having been to Bay City I am thinking I might take a road trip across the state some weekend. Is there anything there worth seeing?? Any "must do's" around there?? It does not even have to be Roller related. I have been told the mural is long gone and nothing remains of the Rollers to see. Still I think it is a quest that most Roller fans want to eventually make....just to say "I've been there!!" Any ideas?? Let me know. I live on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan in a town named St Joseph. I too am in the beautiful SW part of the state. Bill & I like to watch sunsets from the bluff & walk on the beach. We can see the lighthouse on Silver Beach from the bluff. I am a lighthouse fanatic so for me that's pretty kewl! On the 4th we watched the fireworks over the Lighthouse...that along with the lights from boats bobbing in the water made it an awesome display. Don't tell me you were here in my area or town...cuz I would have loved to meet ya! (NT) -- Becca, 17:41:27 07/08/02 Mon HA! We went to Warren Dunes What is that, about 15 - 20 miles from you?..And we almost *did* go to St. Joe! Been there quite often and its only about an hour from us. Nice town.
