Lee, I read the link you sent, very interesting...I couldn’t help but see similarities to our own fractured community. There already exists a separate community of Boerboel owners beyond the Internet crowd...neither seems to be aware of the other...but I can see a point coming that deliberate avoidance might be considered beneficial to both groups. But that is another topic, my questions for you guys;

What are the relative merits of the addition of Boerboel blood to an existing line of Ban-dog ? What would a breeder hope to gain from Boerboel?

What are the relative merits of the addition of Ban-dog blood to Boerboel? What would a breeder hope to gain, and what would be the likely return in terms of generational improvement? What could be the negative aspects?

Last question, what do you guys think the ramifications to the Boerboel registries would be, and how should they handle the topic?
