no there is no spring kit (just replacement springs)cutting the spring is the only option although it seems drastic is is really no big deal(the factory at aci does this all the time).I would follow mav's suggestion about the cutting process.I don't think you are varying from 330 to 270 this is just your adjustment right? from you co2 you can expect about 15fps differance depending on you paint (paint is the key to consistancy well paint and barrel)I would not reverse the striker spring & guide this sounds like B.S to me.as far as the spring varying for hot and cold- steel is pretty consistant unless your talking alot of heat (like 200 plus)your co2 is where you'll find your velocity spike(due to preasure)you'll find out it is pretty easy to make this adjustment.good luck
