Actually Delrin is becoming quite popular among other markers, b/c of its weight. Which causes less recoil and greater accuracy.

As for what Mav said, I wasnt aware of any of these problems. The only problem Ive ever heard of Delrin was that some of it swells, but this all depends on the quality of the Delrin. I assure you that, if this makes it, it will be high quality Delrin.

Another thing, you dont oil Delrin at all, its not a porous(sp??) material meaning it wont take the oil and is just wasting it. And if the whole Delrin idea goes bad b/c of swelling, I have a back up Beta Plan, Nylon, which supposedly doesnt swell at all.

But Ill see how it goes, but I dont think Ill be able to release a beta version for testers soon. B/c I am actually getting a non-local machinist to make the proto, and if it works, Im going to see if my local machinist can make them(I know he can, just dont know if he has tools to carve plastics.) So Im shipping off plans this weekend, and as soon as I get it back Ill post reviews, but pics might take some time(end of month maybe).
