co2 is naturally an unstable gas. it really doesn't like temperature changes. using an xchamber is a good step. it allows for the expansion of gasses in cold weather. it does not ,however, regulate pressure. Using a regulator would accomplish that. You do want to make sure you get a regulator that operates well with co2. palmers stabalizer has a good rep with regulating co2, I'm sure there are others. Some setups include an xchamber and regulator. you want to make sure if you want to do this that you put them in the correct order. tank -> xchamber -> reg -> gun. I think there are some good articals on the f4og main page you might want to read them.
