The only thing I have against the "new replies on top" style is that sometimes you'll get a topic that gets many responses, and then that message thread always stays on top, while other newer topics get pushed down and forgotten.

This message board can post either way.

This seems to happen especially often to newbie questions that get a quick and simple response. They get pushed down quickly, while the popular threads will stay on top until exhausted. In order to be fair to all messages (those with many replies and those with few replies) I've set this board to not relocate active threads to beginning.
