I wasn't saying don't use delrin. Delrin is a good self-lubricating plastic. you'll see alot of delrin parts on faucets (the valves that control water flow) and you know how much abuse those take. I wouldn't shy away from using delrin. My concern was is a plastic bolt too soft for this application? take a look at the f4og home page on "how a f4 works" it is pretty interesting.
