The only person I have ever heard from who actually promoted this (in an article on his website) was Doc of Doc's machine shop and well he's based in Alaska!

I've never seen it done (or had the desire to, I live in South Ca as well) and honestly don't see any actual benefit for most of us. The only thing I can think of is if you have problems with trying to run on gas co2 in cold weather and keep sucking liquid intermitently screwing up the whole works (is that it?)

Ah well sounds like a fun experiment, enjoy!
