If it is the reg on your gun (not the tank reg) then you need to open it up a little so that you increase the amount of air to the marker. This happened with my WGP reg when I swtiched to HPA, I had squelched it down so much that it wasn't getting enough air to operate so it would just free flow out the relief.
If it is on your tank, chances are a burst disk... but then fixing it depends on what kind of tank/reg you are using. If its the bulldog II it is easily replacable, but any others you may have to send in or take in to a shop.
