I have a J&J Ceramic that does NOT have a tapered inside edge.... think it was threaded for Carbine, not SPECIFICALLY F4, and I've had major problems with ZAP Pro Series breaking in it. I've also never been able to shoot through breaks. Keeping in mind that I havn't had it very long and the only day I've been able to play since I got it was really cold (30-40 degrees), so that probably had something to do with it.

As far as phyical compatibility goes, it's just fine. Doesn't hit the HVC, the threads (after some light sanding) screw in smoothly (although it seems like you have to screw it in a LOT farther than other barrels). It also stays where it's put, I've never had a problem with it unscrewing itself or anthing, despite the lack of an o-ring.

My ACI Zero-G Grafitti works just fine, shoots through breaks, but doesn't clean itself well... never had any major problems, and it's made by ACI so it's sure to be machined properly to fit the F4 exactly.
