They could possibly mean "ButtPlate" for your tank. A plastic slip over cover for Co2 tanks that makes it easier to shoulder the paintball gun.

Or they could mean the actual backplate which is the part of an angel where the on/off switch and breech knob are located.

My guess would be the former though....
