We are not operating on a bush budget anymore. All this is new spending. The Bush budget was only a few hundred billion in new deficit spending. What we have done since he left office is trillions with the promise of trillions more in spending that WE CANNOT AFFORD.

As far as what they got right??? In the last 27 years the Dems have had their opportunities and they squandered them as well... so you cant lay everything on the Reps. Under Reagan there was a Democrat congress, Under Clinton there was a Democratic congress for 2 years, Under Bush there was a Democratic congress (although I agree the split was pretty close). Far as Im concerned neither side has done or is now doing their stinking job. They are just trying to be all things to all people and they will bankrupt this country trying.
