My vote is to force wizards to be chaos, alienists or require a patron (such as a demon or devil). Sorcerers would be unchanged. Rangers will use the Conan rules for the Borderer and will no longer have magic.

Clerics and Druids will only be allowed to use magic IF and ONLY IF the spell furthers their god's aims and goals (which, I admit, I have been lax with in regards to Gaspar). Otherwise clerics and druids will have to rely on mundane means to accomplish other goals (which I think is fine, as clerics and druids have a decent martial ability).

I am not sure what to do about Bards yet. I rather like Monte's take on them... but I don't know.

I am torn on the magic item issue. I don't like them, but they are needed to fight the monsters I like using. I was using Mordenkainen's Disjunction to wittle down the Christmas Trees, but now that the Christmas Trees in question can make or remake their own decorations, I will have to find a new way to bring about magic item attrition.
