Typo in the last sentence. The last sentence should read: With the exception of the first 5 minutes, don't let your KIDS watch it....

Now, I never said it was an Acadamy Award winning flick, but if they gave Oscars for "Best Performance by a high school marching band in a "B" movie, The Pride would have won hands down!

No argument on the Oscar, but really chapped me was that there was no mention of the Band in the movie ending credits.

I would be proud to mention the Sweepstakes trophies, the 1975-76 AstroWorld Trophy, the Rose Bowl parade and Solo/Esemble contests on any resume. I wouldn't want to mention this movie...I might mention my involvement in this movie as a really bad community project, but nothing more than that...That movie is THAT bad...
