• As above, no club is paying the fee and wages for him given his age, you’re talking world class wages and fed for a 1 season with an at best questionable attitude. All his issues have been last few years, when he’s at an age should be setting an example, not behaving like a young startup, so excusing it by blaming the club, orher players aren’t doing it, well sancho did and he got booted out, if anything rashfords been given extra leeway for his behaviour.     • Nothing to do with morals, it’s wanting good senior players at the club setting an example (you see stories about iwobi/rob/lukic etc?)       • Henry Winter says Manchester United want to sell Rashford. He mentioned nothing about behaviour, but did think the club might be motivated by money on this matter. Perriera was chastised and dropped for his translated press conference; Rashford had clearly planned this interview with his mate winter, to tell the world he wants to leave the club he so apparently loves, which absolutely screws Utd when it comes to negotiating, he’s an immature player with a patchy record at best with an over inflated contract, almost a microcosm of a lot of what’s wrong with modern football players.             • I don’t know him to like or dislike, but given you multiple on and off the pitch reasons why we wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole and your only rebuttal is, well we’ve all done stuff. I know he’s a darling of the left, but he behaves like an immature youth player on and off the field, not a senior leader, which is where he should be at, it’s all a moot point, we wouldn’t go anywhere near him and nor will 99% of other clubs.               • Are you presenting a full picture of this young man? In football he is not performing well. In his charity work, he is first class. So good that he was awarded an MBE.                 • Yeh but I don’t care if he spends his time doing charity work frankly, if i want to sign a football player it’d to be a top football player and for that money they’d need to be a leader and set an example to younger players, whereas he’s shown to be inconsistent at best recently, poor work rate, poor body language and as above none of the attributes of what I want my young players to show, good for him re; charity, but I’m not signing a player because they do stuff for charity.                   • I get that part of your arguement. I don't get it that you think him immature and not a leader. Off the pitch, the evidence is clearly there that he's both leader and mature. On the pitch less so. The interesting thing for me is why he doesn't show it on the pitch, and what factors would have to be different in order for him to perform better on the pitch. currently he's compartmentalising his abilities and skills.
