We surely aren't supposed to draw conclusions about Joss personally based on the acts of TV characters. All of the characters did bad things on occasion. Xander was frequently a jerk -- does that mean Joss hates men? Hardly. It just means that Joss wrote a fully developed character who had flaws as well as strengths. The same is true for all the regulars.

Willow's behavior in AtW and TR is a particularly bad example. Does anyone seriously think we were expected to approve of her actions?
