Subject: Gentrification is on FIRE!

With prices for houses on Grand and Montgomery Streets hitting close to the $million mark, those pesky gun-toters are trying again to tamper the trend. We can't stand for this! We must have more prayer vigils and more 100 black men meetings! Time for another gun buyback program with gift cards to Walmart. Time for our elected officials to repeat the same lines their predecessors spoke for decades. We are Newburgh, we forget, please remind us. The yutes are in trouble. More programs for the yutes. Meanwhile the director of the Boys and Girls Club and arts academy is raking in hundreds of thousands in salary and owns several derelict empty buildings. But somehow there's not enough for teh yutes. Where's omari and his activist mother? ARe they too tired to walk the streets anymore? Or now that they have a seat on the council they have no answers to offer anymore? They were such experts sitting on the sidelines.
