Though thunder shuddered the Isle, foretelling the maelstrom to come, Adrian stood still and ignored everything. Everything except what was imminently important at this very moment. The thinly built rogue stood like a scruffy statue that was abused one too many times by outside forces. The cuts that the cat had inflicted upon him stung severely. His dark eyes watered slightly from the pain. Yet still the rebel glared menacingly at the perpetrator of the assault.

"Good shot Roxie."

He spoke the words quietly in a low whisper. Adrian never took his eyes from the cat. Anger boiling and carefree style clearly absent from him, the stallion readied himself for an all-out brawl. Few creatures were ever witness to the bay thoroughbred's rare shows of obscene temper. Usually quite quiet, though undoubtedly annoying, rage was never a thing Adrian tended to exhibit. No one could cheap shot the auburn like that. No way. He felt his face bleed. It triggored him to shift, yet not strike.. yet.

"Is this what Firelight has her minions doing now?" The stallion exploded in an enfuriated snarl that was fierce enough alarm at least a few happy watchers and perhaps a couple passers by. "Mindlessly attacking other Evils with absolutely no just cause?"
