Planning our Sanibel Trip!

Hi everyone! Our trip is planned for the 2nd week of May!! I often read these message boards and have learned a great deal! We have booked our stay at the Gulf Breeze Cottages! Has anyone stayed there before or have any information on it? Ive seen the pics on their site and it looks to be like a nice beachy place! Also, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is ok to go out on th beach at night?? My husband was asking..I told him I didnt think it was too good of an idea?? lol.. Im not sure! Another question, is can you have drinks out on the beach...like mixed drinks? Ive always wanted to just lay on the beach and enjoy a tropical drink 8-) Is there anyone else on there that will be visiting that 2nd week of May? We are a young couple, we will have been married 2 years this coming July and this trip is part of our anniversary to each other!! We spent our honeymoon in Pensacola Beach! We loved it there as well! Is Sanibel much different than there? It seems like it will be! Also...this is very important to me!! When I was in Pensacola...I didnt use sunscreen as much as I should have...and got a pretty nasty sunburn..I couldnt walk hardly it was so bad!! So, does anyone have any reccomendations on sun lotion...I want to get a tan..but I dont want to burn up either! LOL! Well...sorry this was so long! Im just full of questions! Sorry!! Thanks in advance for any help and tips!!
