Read the comments. If you had previously thought that anti-Catholicism was a thing of the past, or is something that overly sensitive people dream up, your eyes will be opened.

And I bet the people who left those comments think of themselves as intelligent in every way, and of course much better than lowly Catholics like Mother Teresa and PJPII. LOL

I suppose we can be thankful that people with an attitude like that won't come to any Catholic church, even for a visit, until their minds and hearts are opened to the truth of the Catholic Church. They think they know what they're talking about, but they sound like a bunch of Cliff Clavins, belly up to the bar, with a few too many under their belts. Oh, and with white athletic socks. :)

Sometimes he was ridiculed for it, other times they supported him because of it, 'cuz he appeared to be an honorable man of conviction who had a solid basis for his views and policies.

Of cse, I'm an admirer of Tony B who was brave enough to stand up for things that may've been unpopular to an unbelieving public. In fairness tho, he was in ofc over 10 yrs and that was long enough...and it was time to go. Even good ole Maggie T should've left a lil' sooner.

Enough politics for now. More later, if you folks really wanna hear it. Otherwise, I'll leave it there...

Take care, God Bless,

Phil from rainy AZ
