It's wrong in plain English. When the illegals are crossing the border, they are thinking if they give birth and make their children legal US citizens that they will be able to stay in the country. They are misinformed. If the parents get deported back to Mexico, the children must go with them. They have the choice to stay there or when they are of legal age, to come and live in the US. The parents should have learned about the laws of the United States before crossing the border. Too many illegals think this way, but it's not so.

right here, where illegals are in no short supply, it's a fact that one legal working guy will sign up a host of family members claiming them as his own, in order to get them medical coverage. Terry's insurance premiums doubled at work because of the many who were getting by doing that very thing. I hope anyone reading this doesn't think I'm outright prejudice. That's not the case at all. But if I'm judged as such, then so be it. But, I know of which I speak and God knows my heart. There are good and bad in all races. But because of the illegals here, the unemployement of the average worker has risen. A carpet mill owner can get an illegal to do work, pay only cash and get by without paying benefits he would have to pay a citizen. I have seen it all first hand. Of course some of the companies are being fined for such actions, but don't kid yourself, it's all about good ole boys scratching the other's backs. Goverment officials will turn a deaf ear if there is money in it for them.

You're talking about someone's criminal behavior (making false dependants claims) not their race or religion. You aren't saying that you won't associate with them because of their race or religion. You're saying that your fed-up with the cheating that goes on and the high price we all have to pay because of it. This is a far cry from saying that you won't talk to a person of Mexican descent because Illegal immigrant Mexicans steal (steal into the country, steal ins benefits, steal work, etc).

I think all races and religions have had their share of criminal immigrants--legal and illegal. The English that were first sent to the new world weren't exactly the cream of the crop. America was a nice dumping ground for the undesireables of the London streets. Then those with the means, used other human beings as slaves!

The Irish and Italians in the Northeastern cities had their own brand of crime.

They all did. These people come here with nothing, and they do whatever they can. Some of them aren't honest, and they'll do whatever is easiest or the most exciting--crime appeals to some.

There's nothing prejudice about saying that you think crime is wrong.

Joan is right in what she is saying. I blame the government. Person A is on the system, and tells Person B if they do this or that, they can get on the system too. Person B tells Person C, and it's an endless cycle. Same with the immigrants. Person A comes to America, is lucky to get a job making $8 an hour. Person A calls his family and friends back home, and ewwww and ahhhhh over the extreme amount of money Person A is making. Other's follow Person A's lead and start coming to America also. Then they do the same and before you know it, the entire country has moved into the USA. If the government would have put a stop to all this, non of what's going on today would be a problem. The people know the tricks and will use it to their advantage. When the government puts a stop to all this, watch and see how many illegal immigrants will want to go back home.
