In school I had nuns who dressed in the traditional post Vatican II, habit. I had nuns who dressed casually. Looking back, I showed the nuns who were in traditional habit more respect. The ones in the casual dress less respect. In the casual dress they became my equal, and most of the time I forgot they were a nun.

I would like to see all nuns in the traditional post Vatican II habit. I don't think it is necessary to go back to the pre- Vatican II habit, like Mother Angelica, of EWTN, made her nuns do. ( maybe she didn't make them do it, perhaps they voted to go back to that habit).

I know that some nuns wear a uniform without the habit. It just seems like something is missing when they don't have that habit on their head.
