I don't have any idea how Brenda feels about Catholicism. She also let the nonsense posts about Earl Hamner's Italian roots stand, so letting the anti-Catholic posts stand doesn't mean that she is anti-Catholic.

I found your Catholic Friend's Forum, on Brenda's Walton's Forum. She did allow you to post about a Catholic Forum. When I saw the nonsense posted about Earl Hamner's Italian roots, I thought it should have been deleted because it was just that utter nonsense. I didn't think it was anti-Catholic of Brenda to let it stand, because not all Italians in Italy are Catholic. There are Italians in Italy who are Protestants. We think of all Italians as Catholics because the majority of the people are Catholic in Italy, and the Vatican is there. Hamner's Italian ancestors could have been Protestant while they were still in Italy. However if they were Catholic they most likely became Protestant while living in the hills of VA, due to the fact that there wasn't any Catholic Church near where they lived.
My opinion about Brenda, is of a personal nature. I had never been on a forum before. I didn't want to use my real name ( yes, Neysa, is my real name). I posted using one name then changed and made posts using another name. Then I posted something that was the truth, but I was called a liar. It offended a cast member. Brenda,blocked my IP address so I cannot post anymore on her forum. Then, I saw these crazy posts about Hamner's Italian roots. That person is still able to post.
I sent two emails asking Brenda to allow me to post on her forum again. She never responded. As a Catholic, I wasn't brought up reading the Bible. I mentioned to her that as a Catholic I cannot quote the passages from the Bible, but I know it says in there about forgiving and giving people another chance!!!
Joan, if you don't want me to post anymore on your forum. Just let me know and I will not make anymore posts here.

Your post here was an honest post that took a great deal of courage to write and publish.
No, you won't be banned from posting here. Maybe time will heal the wounds on Brenda's and you can post there again someday.

I appreciate you allowing me to continue posting here. I just want you to know that what I posted on Brenda's Forum was not something inflammatory for all to read. Infact, the cast member in question does not go on Brenda's Forum. It was sent in a private e-mail, to a person who sent it on the the cast member. Infact, it wasn't even a remark about the cast member.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart, I really enjoy this forum as I stated in my post the other day.
