Date Posted: 11:03:34 08/25/09 Tue In reply to: Verda Thorne 's message, "::Leader of the Pack::" on 10:35:04 08/25/09 Tue She moved with an uncanny grace. Close inspection would have warned any mortal to what she was but she passed the boy with the headphones and the mother unnoticed. People were too wrapped up in their own lives to see the bigger picture. She had planned her entire trip around this moment. She had executed the plan perfectly. But now as she stood staring at all the busy faces, she was lost for her next move. She stood still like a chess piece, wondering where she was suppose to go to from here. People had rumored that a pack of shifters lived in the tunnel. But she wasn’t about to go chasing them down on their home turf. She had half expected to see some of them all ready. She found an empty bench and sat, pushing away a soda can to make room for her thin legs to pull up beside her. Maybe she would wait until the subway was less busy…then maybe she could shift and howl for attention. She wondered if the shifters might be out running on fours. It was early evening and she could feel the tug in her lower back to move into a more comfortable frame. It wasn’t long before she glanced over her summer soaked shoulder and her lips broke into a smile. There! There!!!! It wasn’t a myth! THERE WERE WEREWOLVES!!!! She practically leapt up to face the beautiful female. She watched her move closer and admired the stance and motion of her body. It was clear from her hip sway and her attitude that she was experienced in the world of shifting. It was also clear that she was cautious of the smaller female. Lyla thought that was very smart, even if she was harmless. She let her smile radiant out, hoping the female would sense she was no threat.
