Sarah,

As a step-mom who is finally expanding her position of parental authority, and starting to spank naughty bare bottoms when necessary, I appreciate how thorough you are when explaining how you spank the children under your supervision. For me, while administering spankings is a new experience, I am all too familiar with how it should be done. My childhood taught me more about proper and painful spankings than I actually wish to know. I understand what proper bare bottom punishment spanking are, why and how they are administered, and what to expect when the spankings are done. Still, learning from you and Mary, and others is really helpful.

From reading your post, what I appreciate the most is your confidence. Your forty years of spanking experience have made child discipline second nature to you. Maybe it was second nature to you on day one. I admire your ability to spank a boy or girl’s bare bottom with resolve and be unaffected by his or her loud screaming and hollering, or their hysterical flailing. None of us want to see our children in pain, but when we know that spanking them is for their own good, and we choose not to spare them an ounce of what they deserve, they think twice before doing it again and respect us for loving them too much to let them fail. Tough love.

Like you, I will be a spoon and hairbrush spanker. Little ones don’t need to experience the hairbrush until they are seven or eight. A wooden spoon is plenty painful on a little boy or girl’s bare bottom. Bailey certainly howled loudly the other day when I spoon-spanked her. Today, I pulled her into her bedroom after school and closed the door, pulled down her pink leggings and flowery panties, and inspected her healing bare buns. There wasn’t much sign of the spanking left except for a few fading spoon prints that clearly must have been purple the day after the spanking.

Spanking them until the tears and snot flow freely seems right.
