Subject: VGA upgrade problem

Hello everyone!

I just finished building a PCC and the first time I booted it up I noticed a screen problem. I did the VGA upgrade, and while the screen seems to show VGA resolution, the image appears a bit garbled. I can tell what the screen is displaying, but it shows junk to the left and right center of the screen. I'm using a PPC 100MHz board, 64MB RAM, etc., and the floppy drive in the very least seems to function properly. I do hear popping sounds coming from the built-in speaker, and occasionally the screen image takes on a yellowish hue. The machine before the modification was working perfectly. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks all!
