 I think that it is essential for sitters to have full spanking rights or else the kids will be taking advantage of the situation and try to get away with things! A tip for a sitter who did the job properly and disciplined the kids isn't a bad idea because it encourages the sitter to take the job seriously. Perhaps some young sitters, as you mention, should be spanked but as a reminder that they are in an adult role and if they didn't discipline when needed, need to face the consequences as well!
